What impressed me most about GATES OF THE MOUNTAIN BOAT TOUR is the fact that I was able to navigate the same space as the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Virtually 210 years to the day, I saw the same limestone rocks open a narrow pathway along the Missouri River. For me to see what they saw and experience what they felt is bone-chilling. For the landscape and vista to sustain over 210 years is what a resilient environment looks like.

For me, travel blogging is an opportunity to share stories, photos and videos of the experiences God has given me. Travel is altogether exploring, learning and opening doors. I’m a Southern Girl, a mom, a wife, a Sunday School teacher and a media analyst. I’m always looking for an experience to write a blog about. When I’m not blogging you’ll find me bicycling around town. And when I’m travelling, I’m always on the hunt for a bicycle tour. View all posts by scenethat
